Who We Are

WorthIt is provided by Cameron Dewell. This Privacy Policy applies to the WorthIt Android app and describes how information is handled when you use the app.

Effective date: 12 June 2026

What WorthIt Does

WorthIt lets you manually track subscriptions, subscription costs, billing cycles, and usage data so you can estimate the cost per hour or other value metrics for each subscription. WorthIt is designed as a personal tracking tool.

Information You Enter in the App

You may choose to enter information such as subscription names, costs, billing cycles, categories, and usage records. This information is stored locally on your device. WorthIt does not currently provide user accounts, cloud sync, or server-side storage for this information.

Because this information is stored locally, deleting the app or clearing the app's data may delete your WorthIt data from your device. Your device operating system, app store, or backup settings may handle device data separately from WorthIt.

Optional Screen-Time Tracking

WorthIt may let you connect a subscription to an app on your device so WorthIt can estimate usage from Android screen-time data. If you enable this feature and grant usage access, WorthIt stores the selected app name, app package name, and usage checkpoints locally on your device. WorthIt uses this information to create usage entries for the subscription.

You can turn off screen-time tracking or remove an app mapping in WorthIt. Android usage-access permission is controlled by your device settings.

Firebase Analytics

WorthIt uses Firebase Analytics only if you enable analytics collection in the app. Firebase Analytics helps us understand general app usage and improve the app. This may include information such as app opens, feature interactions, app version, device type, operating system version, general region, language, and other diagnostic or usage metrics made available by Firebase Analytics.

We do not use Firebase Analytics to intentionally collect the subscription names, costs, or usage record details that you manually enter into WorthIt. We may collect high-level feature usage metadata, including selected billing cycle and category when a subscription is added or edited. You can turn analytics collection on or off at any time in WorthIt settings.

Firebase Crashlytics

WorthIt uses Firebase Crashlytics only if you enable analytics and crash report collection in the app. Crashlytics provides crash reporting and diagnostics. If the app crashes or has a serious error, Crashlytics may collect information such as crash logs, stack traces, app version, device model, operating system version, crash time, installation identifiers, and related diagnostic data.

Crashlytics helps identify and fix bugs. We do not intentionally include your manually entered subscription details in crash reports. You can turn crash report collection on or off at any time in WorthIt settings.

How We Share Information

WorthIt does not sell your personal data. WorthIt does not use advertising networks and does not share your data for targeted advertising.

Analytics and crash/diagnostic data may be processed by Google Firebase as our service provider. Google Firebase processes this data to provide analytics, crash reporting, and related infrastructure services. You can learn more from the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.

We may also disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request.
